Clean Sheet Ventures ("we", "us", "our") provides professional cleaning, fumigation, and pest-control services across Nairobi, Kenya. We operate as a sole proprietorship. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to the practices described here.

• To contact you about your booking (confirmations, reminders, follow-ups).
• To send marketing messages only where you have opted in — you can unsubscribe anytime.
• To maintain and improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

We share data only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:

• Netlify — hosts our website and securely stores form submissions.
• Google Analytics — provides anonymised website-usage statistics (cookies only, with your consent).
• Cloudflare — processes messages sent to our on-site chat assistant.
• WhatsApp — if you choose to contact us there, your message is handled under WhatsApp's own terms.

Some of these providers operate servers outside Kenya. Where data is transferred abroad, we rely on providers that apply recognised data-protection safeguards.

Our site uses a small number of cookies for analytics only. These do not load until you select Accept on our cookie banner. If you select Decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.

We retain customer booking data (name, phone, email, service details) for up to 12 months after your last interaction, after which it is deleted, unless we are required to keep it longer for legal or accounting reasons. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• ask us to delete your data ("right to erasure");
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent at any time; and
• lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), Kenya.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. Our website is served over encrypted HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
