Terms of Service

These terms govern the cleaning, fumigation, and pest-control services provided by Clean Sheet Ventures ("we", "us", "our") in Nairobi, Kenya. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings & deposits

To secure a booking, we require a 30% deposit paid by M-Pesa via Pochi La Biashara to 0707 856 512. Your slot is confirmed once the deposit is received. The balance is payable on completion of the service, by M-Pesa, bank transfer, or cash.

2. Pricing & quotes

Prices shown on our website and price estimator are starting prices and estimates. The final price is confirmed on-site (or after a free WhatsApp assessment) based on property size, condition, and the level of service required. We will always confirm the final price with you before work begins. There are no hidden charges.

3. Cancellations & rescheduling

• You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your booked time, and your deposit will be carried over or refunded.
• For cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, the deposit may be retained to cover reserved time and preparation.
• If our team cannot reach the property or is denied access on arrival, the deposit may be treated as a cancellation within 24 hours.
• If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer a new slot or a full deposit refund.

4. Our guarantee

We stand behind our work with a 30-day guarantee on pest treatments: if there is significant pest re-activity within 30 days of treatment due to our application, we will return and re-treat at no charge. Pest treatments also include a free follow-up inspection 7–10 days after service. Bedbug treatments include two visits, 14 days apart, both covered in the price.

5. Your responsibilities

To help us deliver a safe, effective service, you agree to:

• provide safe access to the property at the agreed time;
• follow the preparation instructions we share when you book (e.g. clearing surfaces, securing food, and relocating pets and children during treatment);
• disclose any relevant safety information, such as allergies, pregnancy, or vulnerable occupants; and
• follow post-treatment guidance we provide.

6. Safety

We use WHO-approved, eco-certified products that are safe for children and pets once dry (typically 2–4 hours after treatment). Please keep children and pets away during treatment and until surfaces are dry. Safety data sheets are available on request.

7. Liability

We take reasonable care in performing every service and carry professional insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects, or for items not disclosed as fragile or valuable. Any claim for loss or damage caused by our service must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of the service. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

8. Certificates

Where applicable, every fumigation and pest treatment includes an official, dated Certificate of Treatment on request, accepted by landlords, health authorities, and inspectors in Kenya.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute will be handled in good faith and, where possible, resolved directly between you and us before any further action.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
